Well i saw the .XYZ guys at the DomainStartupSummitt.com conference, they had a nice list of 4-10 companies that had raised at least $100,000 and used a .xyz domain name. Total was about 20m in funding. They keep plugging. Ive rerun my premium .xyz name sale on the for sale thread. prices down another 50%. Im about $600 form being breakeven on .xyz, then i can truly say im in with house money on the remaining 100 names i have....... oh yeak and renewals....

yup the $1.88 at the time of the land rush drop last year was a wonderful thing.

i equate Daniel and his team with shoveling coal into the furnace ot make sure it stays hot....... until it can burn on its own. So for the audacity of this move i commend him...latent dysfuntion?? online time will tell.

    thanks for the comment.

Not sure how I feel about the 1 cent sale. For sure lots more spam sites. Will it devalue the current values of existing xyz domains? Time will tell.

So far there is decent interest in these. I've sold several in the $300-$1500 range after paying $1.88.

The pricey renewals though may prove to be the kiss of death as I think it will be for .online (even more so for .online).

The renewals really need to be in the $5 area if not cheaper.
